Kaveri's mother-in-law's sister, Shanthi Sharma, asks Kaveri's help to find who is embezzling money from Shanthi's husband's factory. Shanthi insists that Kaveri meet her in secret at Shanti's husband's office at 9:00 pm. Kaveri asks a police inspector to attend the meeting with her, and as Kaveri and the inspector arrive at the factory, they hear a gunshot, and enter to find Mr. Sharma dead from the gunshot. Mr. Sharma is holding a piece of jewelry that belongs to and is unique to Kaveri, so someone, apparently, intended to frame Kaveri. Kaveri eventually finds out who wanted Mr. Sharma dead and why. |
